Instructor Courses

All of Esprit's kayak courses are taught under the guidelines of Whitewater Ontario (WO). WO is the provincial certification body for kayak instructors in Ontario and it is Whitewater Ontario's mission to support the whitewater paddling community through the promotion, development and growth of the sport in its various disciplines.

Whitewater Ontario instructor training programs which are endorsed nationally by Whitewater Canada and recognized by Coaching Canada. These programs are delivered by highly competent instructor-trainers. A low instructor/student ratio ensures that your learning curve is steep.

Esprit will be hosting both the Moving Water (Level 1) and the Advanced Whitewater Instructor (Level 2) this fall. Course registration takes place directly with Whitewater Ontario's head office. Please contact Whitewater Ontario at 1-888-322-2849 or by email at info@whitewaterontario.ca.
