If you want to push your boundaries in a supportive, fun, safe and exotic environment then these are life-changing trips for you. Push your outer limits with kayaking and your inner limits with yoga. Allow yourself to be challenged and inspired to go beyond what you think is possible. You'll come away with renewed confidence on and off the water. Two levels are available: Beginner and Intermediate
Anna Levesque is a world-class whitewater kayaker who has a passion for inspiring and teaching women. Her experience as an accomplished international competitor, author, instructor and guide has placed her as the leading expert in her field. Anna combines her international expertise in kayaking with her experience as a yoga instructor and student of meditation, to inspire women in confidently creating success and happiness in all aspects of their lives on and off the water. Her company, Girls at Play, is based out of Asheville, NC.
Learn to kayak or improve your basic skills on the beautiful and exotic rivers of Mexico. Anna will teach you all the basics including the roll, basic strokes and river running. Off the water you'll get to experience the relaxing pace, warm welcome and delicious local food that Mexico offers. Morning yoga classes start your days with the inspiration and flow you need to push your limits in a fun and rewarding way. This trip is for novices and beginners - no prior kayaking experience is necessary. We'll be paddling in flatwater and on class II and some III rapids.
