HI Auberge Esprit
Situated on the banks of the Ottawa River, Auberge Esprit is ideally located mid-way between the world famous Algonquin and Gatineau Parks. Auberge Esprit, accredited by Hostelling International (network of lodgings offering clean, comfortable and affordable accommodation), is a unique, rustic lodge catering to travelers, backpackers, course participants and rafters alike. Groups welcome!
Auberge Esprit is well off the beaten tourist track yet is still easily accessible by public bus to Pembroke or Fort Coulonge, by Moose Transport (backpackers' budget transportation company) or by an Esprit shuttle from Ottawa/Gatineau.

Camping
Ideal for individuals and groups who are participating in one of our courses, adventure trips or those just looking for a camp site in the area. Bring your own tent and enjoy sleeping outside surrounded by the majestic Ottawa River. Your camping fee includes the use of the lodge showers and bathrooms as well as free use of kayaks, canoes, volleyball court and climbing wall.
*Please note that some packages include the cost of camping.
